Welcome Back Reminders
We hope your family had a wonderful Holiday Break. Now that we are returning to our regular schedules and routines, we may face some challenges. However, we can overcome these challenges by reminding ourselves of the Cheyenne PRIDE Expectations, district policies, and school guidelines. You can find all the necessary details and reminders below this message.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
-Recess- We will go outside as long as the temperature and wind chill are not below freezing.
-Charge Chromebooks- Please remember to charge it every night.
-Attendance Matters- Please be on time for school. Advisory is a class, and attending all courses on time is important to learning.

Only water in resuable bottles.
No phones 7:10-2:20

Cheyenne Reminders
- School Supplies: We are collect school supplies. If you purchased items please send them with students to school. We appreciate it. We are in need of tissues and pencils.
Refillable Water Bottles: Students may also carry a refillable water container. It is important to put their name on the container. Refillable water containers should not contain other liquids. Do not send squeeze bottles or disposable bottled water. Students arriving to school with outside drinks will be asked to finish them in the office or cafeteria before reporting to class. We have had too many spills and disruptions involving squeeze water bottles, bottled water, outside drinks, and drinks other than water.
Water only allowed in classrooms- we do not allow outside drinks in the classrooms. Please be sure to enjoy your gatorade, starbucks, dutch brothers, sonic, etc. before entering the building. Students will be asked to finish their drink before attending to class.
Food: Breakfast and lunch are available for purchase each day in the cafeteria. We also have a snack bar with additional items for purchase. We do not allow Door Dash items, group lunches, or deliveries. Students arriving at school with outside breakfast items will be asked to remain in the office or cafeteria to complete them before reporting to class. Students should not bring full-size bags of food to school.
Classrooms are a no-food zone. Exceptions will be made for class or school activities. Students may bring their lunch in a lunchbox or disposable containers. Student names should be written inside lunchboxes for easy identification.
Dress Code Reminders
*Wear Layers, temperatures vary by class and outdoors, blankets are not allowed, hoods and hats are off inside the building
The dress code policy of Edmond Public Schools is available here. We need your help to ensure students follow it. Diagrams provide examples of appropriate and inappropriate attire. We have been lenient for two days, but next week students violating the policy will be directed to speak with an administrator to make adjustments. These could include using available clothing options or calling home for someone to bring clothing. If we are unable to get a clothing change, an alternative placement for school work will be provided.

DROPPING OFF ITEMS
We ask that you check with your student before they walk out the door and make sure they are prepared for the day. This includes having their, Chromebook, ID and Lunch. If your student does forget their lunch or something they need for school, we have a cart in our front lobby with grade levels. This will be rolled back into the common area for the students to pick up their items during passing. Please drop off LUNCHES or SCHOOL SUPPLIES ONLY.
If you are dropping off an instrument or athletic equipment we will place this by the back office door for them to come up and get during their passing or after school. Please make arrangements with your student regarding these items and where to retrieve them.
