NRHS Principal's Newsletter
Newsletter April 30, 2024
I hope this message finds you doing well. We are almost into May and it looks like the warm weather is here! I thoroughly enjoyed the International Festival this past Saturday and have shared some photos from the event. We had a great turn out and it was great to see students, parents, staff and community members gathered together to celebrate the many cultures and heritages within the Nashoba Community.
Important dates coming up:
- Wednesday and Thursday evening - Harlem Wizards come to NRHS in support of the Bolton and Stow PTO's - they are looking for NRHS student volunteers to help out with the evening. See the flyer below.
- Saturday, May 11th - Junior Prom
Final Exams Update:
As we approach the end of the school year we wanted to share information about final exams. The expectation is that students take their exams during the period when they are scheduled. If a student needs to take an exam at a different time, they must meet with their assistant principal who will issue them an early exam permission form for the student to fill out. The student's assistant principal will sign off on the form prior to the student talking the form to individual teachers.
Parking, Drop off and Pick up:
We have seen an increase in traffic in the bus lanes during drop off and in particular pick up. Please be mindful that the lane in front of the school from 7:15am-7:40am and from 1:50pm-2:30pm is for buses only. Student drivers are reminded that student parking is on the side of the building not in the front lot.
Thank you!
Congratulations to Brayden Duprey who received a Daughters's of the American Revolution award and scholarship last week at the State House!
Have a great week!

Athletics Update
Fall Sports Meeting - Monday 5/20 @ 7:00PM
On Monday, May 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Nashoba Regional High School, we will hold an informational meeting for all incoming freshman and current students in grades 9-11 interested in participating in a fall sport at the high school. These meetings will be held at NRHS - locations will be shared prior to the meeting.
Students are invited to attend the meeting with their parents. The coaching staff of each sport will provide an overview of the program, coaching philosophy, fall tryout dates, suggested summer conditioning, and more. Coaches will be able to share information electronically after the meeting with families.
Message from the Health Office
From the Health Office:
As we make our way into allergy season and potentially high pollen counts, please be aware that the NRHS Health Office does not carry medication for seasonal allergies. If your child suffers from seasonal allergies and uses medication for symptoms, please be sure they take this at home prior to arriving at school.
Please remember also to check for ticks after being outdoors, as this season is predicted to be a heavy tick season.
Thank you so much and we wish you a healthy and happy spring!
