inTERS and Graduate Reporting
If you get an error message indicating that the student has not met the requirements for a CTE Concentrator or an Industry Certification, please follow these steps:
1. Go to InTERS (https://cte.inters-dwd.com/InTERS_Login/) and click on the pathway search app.
2. On the following screen you will select “continue” which will take you to the screen to enter a student last name and student testing number (STN). Once you have entered the student last name and STN you will select “search” to be taken to the student overview screen.
3. This screen contains three specific tabs of pathways, courses and grad pathway approved certs. The pathways tab allows you to see the pathways (Perkins IV, V and NLPS) that the student is under, the courses tab shows the career and technical education (CTE) courses the student has taken and is currently enrolled in as well as the number of credits earned in each course that have been reported via InTERS. You can also select the grad pathway approved certs tab in order to see what, if any, approved assessments/certifications the student has earned that have been reported via InTERS.
4. Compare these data to the student transcript to determine if there are any missing CTE courses, missing or incorrect number of earned credits, or missing grad pathway approved assessments/certifications. If so, you will need to contact an individual in your CTE district with CTE InTERS (that’s me!) access so they can import the missing courses, grad pathway approved assessments/certifications or update the number of earned credits. Once they have updated the information in CTE InTERS, they should be advised to recalculate for concentrator status on that specific student record under the views-students grid so that you can submit the student to the graduation report immediately following their updates.
SCC Principal's Message - Adam Pietrykowski
April is all about competition and certification for students at Southeastern Career Center. Programs will be offering different certification exams throughout the month of April. It is an exciting time for students and teachers to see the learning that has occurred throughout the school year validated through industry certification.
Our HOSA students have their state competition in Indianapolis coming up April 10 -12. Students will be competing in a variety of events and getting opportunities to mingle with different prospective employers in this exciting event. The next weekend see our SKILLSUSA students going to the state fairgrounds to compete in their own state competition. The heavy equipment students will be looking to provide a repeat of last year’s state championship in their event. Students in both of these competitions have the opportunity to not only win a state championship, but they also have the chance to earn a spot in the national competitions to be held this summer.
We also want to remind everyone that Southeastern Career Center will be using an eLearning day on April 8 because of the solar eclipse. Students will have online work posted no later than 9 AM on that day. We will also be sending out midterm grades to our partner schools by April 22.
Finally, we want to remind all of our partner schools that we have created a shared folder that contains videos advertising the programs available at Southeastern Career Center. We will update this folder as new content is created. You can find the link to that folder below.
Student Services Coordinator's Message - Amy Solly
Enrollment
April will be a month of ironing out rosters for the enrollment 2024-2025. Please keep me updated on drops as soon as you have them. You may add at any time.
First roster will be sent out on April 5th.
*** I do have some classes with waitlists, so just because students are “listed” in a class does not mean that is the class they will be placed in. This is where I NEED you to check your rosters!! I could have a school drop 5 from our auto program which allows openings then we have no waitlist. It is a juggling act :) ***
Student Event
We will be hosting Spring Fling on April 26th. Programs will be competing in the egg drop.
We have scholarships available in student services for the month of April. They are due May 3rd.
Graduation
As previously mentioned, we will be only providing Technical Honor medals for SCC students only for our graduation. If you could send me an estimate of recipients mid-April, I would appreciate it.
I’ll need a complete list by May 3rd.
Semester 2 possible failures list will be sent on May 6, 2024.
Awards and Scholarships winners will be sent to you on May 17th.
