WES PAW PRINTS for families
The Week of April 15th, 2024
AT A GLANCE...
Good Evening Husky Families
We are in the MIDDLE OF APRIL! The rest of the year is going to fly by so FAST!
TESTING SEASON is here!! We have taught, retaught, differentiated, and provided enrichment! Now it's time for our HUSKIES to PERFORM and show what they KNOW! This should feel like any other day for our HUSKIES as our staff has worked hard to get our students ready.
This week we have students in 3rd and 5th Grade taking MCAP English/Language Arts, followed by our 4th Graders next week. Please see the graphic below to follow along with our testing calendar.
This is also FIELD TRIP time! Please be sure you have your permission slips completed, turned in, and paid for on time! If you are chaperoning one of our trips, be mindful that we are representing W.E.S. when we are away from the school and must follow the same school expectations...always in the best spirit of the activity.
Thank you to everyone who helped make our P.A.W.S. Parent Group Pit Beef and Turkey Sale a success! All the monies raised are in turn put back into your children's school experience with things such as Book Fair gift certificates and student supplies.
Our SCOTTISH HIGHLAND CREAMERY fundraiser is well underway! They are making a specialty ice cream flavor for our SCHOOL! Please see the flier below and reserve your deliciousness! Pre sales end this Friday the 19th in order for them to prepare!
Also, just a reminder about our School Uniform Expectations. Here is a link https://5il.co/20wes as well as a graphic below to assist with decision making when shopping and dressing for school.
***Please LABEL your child's belongings!! Our lost and found is overflowing!
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend from all of us at Warwick School!
