News & Upcoming Events
Good Morning OES families!
Please check your back packs - all students went home with glasses for the solar eclipse!
This will be a very busy week! We will be finishing the last of the VTCAP testing, attending field trips, working on the yearbook, having spirit week, and the annual penny challenge!
The 8th graders will finish their last VTCAP session of math on Tuesday afternoon.
The 7th graders will finish their last VTCAP session of math on Wednesday afternoon.
Any students that have been absent for a session or need to finish a session will be doing so on Wednesday. Our students have been working diligently on these assessments. I am very proud of them!
The 8th graders will also be spending time on their yearbook this week. Our goal is to finalize it by Friday.
Grades 5-7 will be going to the Montshire Museum on Tuesday. The bus will leave at 8:15 am and return about 2:15 pm.
On Friday (April 12) we will be going to Jay Peak Waterpark. Students were given permission slips on Friday. Please return them as soon as possible.
Please mark your calendars for April 23rd. We are currently planning another fun filled family event for that evening. More information will be sent home as we finalize the plans.
I hope everyone enjoys the solar eclipse tomorrow.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
