Cougar Staff Weekly Newsletter
Week of Monday, March 25th - Friday, March 29th 2024
We only have four days until Spring Break starts. This upcoming week will be another busy one! First-grade students will go to the aquarium on Tuesday, and fourth-grade students will go to the Science Museum on Thursday. EOY Exact Path testing window closes on Thursday, please make sure that reading, and math are complete.
We started the last quarter last week, and report cards will go home on Monday. Please schedule conferences with parents of students who are not meeting standards for their grade level. Please document any conversations and meetings to ensure no surprises when retention meetings occur. Please let us know if you need assistance with conferences or have questions about promotion standards.
Only 34 more instructional days remain until we begin EOY testing! We have entered the most crucial part of the school year in which every minute of instruction matters! When observing classes, reviewing lesson plans, and just walking around the building, it is evident that no instructional time is wasted! Let's keep this sense of urgency as we finish this year STRONG! Remember, ALL GAS AND NO BRAKES!!!
Hang in there, we appreciate all of your hard work!
Please take time to rest, and recharge over the break to finish the year strong!!
Have a great week!
Ms. Carey and Mrs. Gonzalez

Book Fair
Message from Ms. Grande
Dear Teachers,
Mark this date on your calendar:
Middlesex Elementary School is going to host a Book Fair on April 8 to April 12, 2024 in room 151 the first room on the right in the 100th hall.
We will be following the same media class schedule, so all students will have the opportunity to
walk through, explore and purchase books in cash at the book fair. We also encourage teachers
to come and browse the wide selection of books that will be available at the book fair.
On March 25 to 28, 2024 students will watch the video playlist (Book Trailers) during their media
time where they get to view the best book resources available during our school’s fair. The
students will also be bringing home preview flyer.
We look forward to seeing you all at the book fair. Let us make this an enriching MES book fair
