Free Clothing Pop Up Shop

On Thursday, April 25, Ms. Noey and I will be hosting another pop-up shop. ALL ITEMS ARE FREE!!!

The event will be from 5:30pm-6:30pm in the Oak Springs cafeteria

Mothers Day Luncheon

Join us for our first Mothers Day Luncheon on May 10th during your student’s lunch time.

Please RSVP by 04/29! Call the front office and let them know you would like to attend. You can enjoy 30 minutes of fellowship with your student(s). Enjoy lunch with them either by purchasing lunch here for $5.00 or by bringing yummy lunch for you all to enjoy. PTA will have a Mothers day photo booth. They will be taking your picture and you can take home your framed photo of you and your kiddos for $5.00 (Cash only please)

Almuerzo del Día de la Madre

Únase a nosotros para nuestro primer almuerzo del Día de las Madres el 10 de mayo durante la hora del almuerzo de su estudiante. ¡Por favor confirme su asistencia antes del 29/04! As we approach the last week of STAAR tests for our 3rd-5th graders, it's crucial to provide our students with the support they need to succeed. Teachers and students have worked SO hard to prepare, but it's common for students to feel anxious about standardized tests. The pressure to perform well, fear of failure, and the testing environment can all contribute to heightened anxiety levels. Students may also worry about disappointing their parents, teachers, or themselves, further increasing their stress. So what do we do about it? Check out the graphic below for some helpful tips!

A medida que nos acercamos a la última semana de pruebas STAAR para nuestros estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado, es crucial brindarles a nuestros estudiantes el apoyo que necesitan para tener éxito. Los maestros y estudiantes han trabajado MUY duro para prepararse, pero es común que los estudiantes se sientan ansiosos por los exámenes estandarizados. The Central Texas Food Bank’s social services team is continuing to assist clients with applying for SNAP (along with Medicaid, TANF, Healthy Texas Women, Medicare Savings Program, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal). We offer help with applications remotely and on-site. Our offices are located at 6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, Texas 78744.

For the safety of our staff and the community we serve, we have implemented social distancing models and can see a limited number of clients at one time on-site at the Food Bank. To get help with applications on-site, please call our hotline to make an appointment first at 855-366-3401.
