We are celebrating Read Across America Week this week at East Fallowfield with lots of reading fun. Check out all of our exciting events!

Your students may come home talking about our March Madness Tournament this week. Each day, students will vote on their choice of 2 books. The winners will continue to compete in our March Madness bracket until the ultimate winner is determined on Friday. The winning book will be the book we read for our One Book, One School event later in the spring. May the best book win!

Students and teachers looked great last week for our Turn Up the Spirit Week. Students also had fun competing against other homerooms in our Coin Wars Competition. Congratulations to Ms. Kriston's kindergarten class for being our overall winners!

East Fallowfield Elementary is supporting the CASD SADD Club in their Toiletries Drive. We have a box in the main office where the items below are being collected. Thank you in advance for your support.

Our next PTO meeting is scheduled for this Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 pm in the East Fallowfield Library.

The American Red Cross provides and installs smoke detectors in any CASD students’ homes where they are needed and instructs their families on their use and maintenance. This is done free of charge.

If you do not have a smoke detector(s) or one(s) that don’t work, the Red Cross can schedule a time to visit your home and install new devices. Simply call the Red Cross at 1-800-Red Cross or visit the Red Cross website.

Chromebooks

• Please be sure to send your child back to school with their district-issued Chromebook and charger if they took it home for the summer.
• If your child turned in their Chromebook at the end of the year, they will be distributed within the first few days of school.
• If your child is in kindergarten or new to the district, laptops will be distributed within the first weeks of school.
• Technology Insurance Fees (TIF) can be made via RevTrak on the school district’s website: https://coatesvillearea.revtrak.net/casd-technology/.
• Should you have any technology concerns please contact our Technology Department at ithelpdesk@casdschools.org.

The district is continuing our contract with A Child’s Place as our before and after care provider. Please see the attached flyer below for information about rates and how to enroll your child. We are happy to announce that we will have both before and after care at East Fallowfield this year!
