LV Primary Parent News
March 6, 2024
Primary Bears,
A big congratulations to our 2nd graders who participated in the Wax Museum! From A-Z, we had so many wonderful historical figures! The students collected over $700. The grade level will decide on a campus beautification project with the funds. We will keep you posted on this project.
Good luck to our 1st graders who will be "cooking" up some great stories tomorrow in our Reading Restaurant. Parents will need to wait outside or in their vehicles until 5 minutes before their assigned time. You will walk straight to the classroom to be signed in. If you take your student home after the event, please sign out in the classroom and pick up a sticker.
POD 1= 12:00 noon, Brown, Blandford, Ybarra, Linzy, Reile, Ortega
POD 2=12:45 pm, Morris, Cortez, Garcia, Grun, Friesenhahn
Have a wonderful, relaxing Spring Break! We will see everyone back on Monday, March 18.
Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Shelley Keck

Sports Player Day
We are so excited to announce that as of this morning we have earned our next school-wide reward! See the flyer below. (Don't make this harder than it has to be.... students can wear sports uniforms from teams they play on, cheer or dance uniforms, t-shirts from various teams, etc.)

Returning Student Registration
It's that time of year! All returning students must now register for next year. See flyer below for more details. Starting April 1, we will be personally reaching out to those who have not registered. Consider getting this done over Spring Break! This helps us plans for student numbers, staffing, classrooms, etc. for next year.
Solar Eclipse Glasses
If you forgot to send your Solar Eclipse glasses back, please do so soon! The Solar Eclipse is April 8 during the school day and we want your child to be able to safely view. Teachers will be reaching out to those of you that haven't sent them back. Students who do not have glasses will NOT go outside on April 8.
If you have access to purchase more glasses, we appreciate any donations for students who did not return theirs. Donations may be made to the front office.
