The Llewellyn Friday Flyer
April 26, 2024
Dear Families,
Llewellyn had a packed house last night!!!! I, along with many of you, were able to enjoy our Llewellyn 2nd Graders as they performed songs of imaginary creatures, lifting pages from a story book. They looked like they enjoyed the songs as much as they enjoyed performing for their families and friends. Joy on so many faces and very fun songs! Thank you, ZWB! I want to thank Mrs. Cronen, Ms. Darcy, and Mrs. Schneider for being in attendance. Mrs. Schneider even guest starred by accompanying ZWB and the 2nd graders on the ukulele. We have so many talented staff here at Llewellyn!
The week ended with our Kindergarteners painting Llewellyn stars. Amazing creativity that will be a beautiful addition to our fencing around Llewellyn!
We are ready to begin the process of hiring the next Principal of Llewellyn Elementary. The first step in this process is gathering your input on the skills and characteristics you desire in your next Principal. Your voice is important, and one way to share your perspective is through our Community Feedback Survey, linked HERE. The survey is currently open, and will be available through May 3rd.
In addition to the online survey, we will host sessions with the staff and community to discuss the hiring process. The Community Session will be held on Thursday, May 2nd in the Llewellyn Cafeteria, from 6:00-7:00PM and may be attended either in person, or virtually via Google Meet, or by dialing: 1 929-236-4198 PIN: 725 218 573#. For more information see the attached LETTER.
Have a great weekend!
Principal Pam

By AVOIDING the RED ZONE, we can all be safer!
Note: If you are interested in helping to support these new routes by volunteering in the morning or afternoon or if you have access to signage, please let me know. It would greatly help to have people directing traffic as we all get used to these new routes.
