No School tomorrow, Friday, March 22
From the Office
Wednesday through Friday of next week are Half Days. Students will be released at 12:35 in order to accommodate conferences scheduled for the afternoon or evening.
The Scholastic Book Fair starts Monday (see below). While you are here, please take the opportunity to look for any items your students may have left at school. We have lined the hallways with the lost and found coats, sweaters, water bottles, etc. All Items still here after Spring Break will be donated.

To get clearance so you can help with upcoming PTA events (or ANY Cherrydale events), click Volunteer at Cherrydale. Once you are cleared you can let the PTA know of your interest and availability. Please discuss each day's menu choices with your student to prepare them to make their choice. Keep in mind that breakfast is $2.50 and lunch is $3.75, unless you have been approved for Free or Reduced Breakfast & Lunch benefits.
Health & Attendance
Please see the attachments below for when to keep your student(s) home and illnesses that they can still come to school with.
To excuse your student's absence, please call the office at 253-983-2500. Leave your child's first and last name, the teacher, and the reason for the absence. An absence is unexcused unless notification is made to the office.
If you are going on vacation or student will otherwise be out for multiple days, Please fill out and sign the Cherrydale Planned Absence Form and return it to the office. Once Teacher has filled out their part, a copy can be emailed to you upon request.
