Redmen Review

Students in biology class, with the help of substitute teacher Mr. Konda, have been dissecting starfish to learn more about the the digestive and water vascular systems of these creatures, as well as how they use tube feet to help propel themselves in their seawater environment.

SHS students competed at the Regional Science Fair in Aberdeen on March 21. Bringing home some hardware were Olivia Pistorius and Brooklyn Kozak with an award from Sandford, as well as Gabby Hanson with recognition from SD Veterinary Medical Alliance.

SHS Knowledge Bowlers recently competed at their final meet of the season, the sub-regional event held in Fergus Falls. The team had a great season, coming home with some awards, as well as lots more knowledge! Plans are now in the works for them to take on the teachers of SHS in an exhibition match.
