Student Recognition
Upcoming ALICE Drill
The safety of the students at Oak Grove School is of the utmost importance. During the school year, we’ve made several adjustments (i.e. internal locked doors) to our safety procedures. Therefore, we will be conducting an additional safety drill with local law enforcement on March 13. Please take a few minutes to review the 23/24 school year ALICE family letter for more information.
Safety Concern
We are receiving feedback that some of our cars during arrival and pick-up are not adhering to the signage which serves to keep our students safe during these periods. Unless a staff member is directing traffic during arrival and dismissal, please stop at all stop signs within our parking lot area and on school grounds. In addition, it is unlawful to temporarily park in the crosswalks near Lexington Road.
Spring Conferences Last Call!
Spring Conferences will take place on March 7 from 1:00 - 8:00 pm. Virtual conferences are available from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, and in-person conferences are available from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. The window to schedule conferences is from 2/21 at 8:30 am until 3/6 at noon. Please note that child care will be provided by our 8th-grade honor society students in the small gym. Please contact Dave Huber at huber@ogschool.org with any questions
CogAT Reports Update
We apologize for the delay in getting CogAT reports shared with families of current 3rd and 5th-grade students. The company assures us they are working as quickly as possible to process the tests to enable full visibility into students’ assessment results. As soon as the reports are completed, we will email them to families. If you have any questions, please email Alexa Dunn (adunn@ogschool.org).
