Amazing Shake News
At Church Hill Intermediate School, we place an emphasis on teaching our students manners, discipline, respect, and how to conduct themselves in a professional environment. One way we help students practice these skills is through the “Amazing Shake”. During the Amazing Shake, students learn and develop professional qualities so that they are able to present themselves exceptionally well for opportunities today and in the future.
March 8th Round 1 All CHIS students will participate.
In this round, CHIS staff members will be sitting in stations around the gym. At each station, students will be given 1 minute to respond to a question, then given a score between 1-5 on their handshake, introduction, use of eye contact, and appropriate response. At the end of the day, scores will be tallied, and the top 100 students chosen will move to the next round.
Ed Hodge understands how to shake hands, keep eye contact, and have a conversation!
