I will keep this brief so you read all the different things below. There is a lot going on and a lot coming up at Hubbard to look forward to. Especially our BRAND NEW BUILDING!
FORMER RICE RANGERS! - Listen up! Rice is looking for student volunteers for Rice Family Fun Night. Sign up HERE to volunteer at your old stomping grounds and be a part of this awesome event!
Volunteers needed! - We are in need of Spring Fling Volunteers and 7th grade Social Volunteers for anyone willing to lend a hand. The flyers are further down in this newsletter.
Soccer results - Boys and girls soccer A teams won their games! Boys 6-1 and girls scored 6-0!
Jr. Vase - Next Saturday, on April 13th at Moore Middle School, our art students will be presenting to judges from 11am-Noon for Jr. Vase. I have seen some of their artwork and it is AMAZING! Come support these students and the arts!
Physicals - May 1st Tyler ISD will have a free physical day. We will bus students to the Brookshires center. This is for incoming 7th graders (current 6th) and incoming 9th graders (current 8th). HERE is the flyer.
Foreign Exchange Sponsor - If you are interested in hosting a foreign exchange student for next year, please contact Courtney Smith at (903)279-3347 or courtney1smith@yahoo.com There is a high school student coming from Germany that needs a loving home to be a part of next year!
FIELD DAYS! - We will be hosting some Olympic themed field days the last week of school at Tyler Legacy High School. How does a student earn the privilege to go? We need to just see GROWTH in their STAAR/iReady. Not all students will perform at the highest level, but everyone can show GROWTH!
PTA 7th Grade Social RESCHEDULED!!! This has been rescheduled to April 30th! Also, this event is free for students but if you're able to help cover costs, please make a $5, $10, or donation amount of choice on our Hubbard PTA Square Site. Thanks so much!

Solar Eclipse - UPDATE: We will communicate regarding the eclipse and any immanent threat of weather. Here is an awesome simulator that will let you know when to expect the eclipse in what areas. Yes, we are planning for the solar eclipse! We WILL have school on that day and due to a recent generous donation, we will have enough glasses for each student! We will prep all students ahead of time regarding safety procedures, but we do want them to have this experience. Please let us know if you have any concerns!
Yearbooks! - Your student should have already had a yearbook order form come through, BUT we know middle schoolers lose things. You can order ONLINE but must use the unique Hubbard ID code of 1210324.
