We just wrapped up Quarter 3 of the school year! Our teachers and students have worked hard for the last 9-weeks. Thank you for supporting their progress by brining them to school everyday and helping with their homework. Be on the lookout for Report Cards, they will be sent home by Friday, March 22nd. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's progress, please contact their teacher to schedule a conference.
During this last quarter our students will be taking summative assessments to measure their progress from beginning to end of year. Please help us as we finish this last quarter strong!

Being in school on time and being ready to learn is always important. It is even more important during our upcoming STAAR assessments. Please make sure your student gets plenty of sleep and is here on time. It makes a big difference in your child’s day and will help your child perform well on the day of the test.
Siempre es importante llegar a la escuela a tiempo y estar listo para aprender. Es aún más importante durante nuestras próximas evaluaciones STAAR. Foam Party
Students with only one absence from March 19 - May 22 will be able to participate in a “Foam Party” on May 24th.

We are excited to announce that HHE was selected to have a special visit by Rey Feo 2024 and his court on Thursday, March 21st. We will be sure to take plenty of photos and share on Facebook. Please be sure your child is present on this day to meet our Fiesta Royalty!
Here are some ways you can help your child reading at home!
Sit with your child and read with them. Model reading and listen to them read.
For young readers have them point to the words they read with a pencil or their finger.
If they miss a word, go back to the word and help them sound it out
Have fun with it and enjoy this time with your child.
