Hello Wonderful Bobcat Community,

So Friday, April 19th is the Santa Rita Color Run and WE NEED STILL YOUR HELP!
If you signed up to volunteer and need to update the sheet with your availability, please click on the link. If you have not signed up yet, please come volunteer to throw color and watch your student have a great time at the Color Run.
TK/K will run at 11:30
1st-6th grades will run after they eat lunch at 12:10.
We need at least 50 'color throwers' so please sign up here
Next week is Spring Break! Have a wonderful and safe week and we will see everyone on April 15th
Stay Bobcat Strong,
Kelly Rafferty, Principal
State Testing Attendance
All 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Graders Need to be at School for State Testing!
The formal State Testing (CAASPP) window will be April 22 - May 10. All 3rd-6th graders will be testing. It is very important that all students are present during testing times. If a student is absent, s/he will have to make up the test (missing important classroom instruction). In addition, make-ups are logistically difficult to administer. If you already know of appointments scheduled during testing times, please reschedule them so that everyone is present for testing.

Resources
CalTAN (California Special Education Technical Assistance Network) provides evidence-based resources for California school districts. Visiting the resources page allows users to input needs (role, problem, level) and receive specialized results. Great for parents and teachers!
Please contact your SELPA-1 CAC liaison, Alison Biggs, at abiggs@gmail.com with any questions.
Can you step up and be one of the 20 additional families from your school who support a well-rounded education? LAEF is $235K short of our goal to fully fund teachers and programs this school year. With your help, the fundraising gap could be closed.
Take advantage of our Challenge Match! Thanks to the generosity of four families, every dollar you donate to LAEF today will get DOUBLED, up to $28,400 through May 31, 2024.
Donations of any amount and type will get doubled, including cash, checks, donor-advised funds, stock, and those made through employer-giving portals.
Let’s come together and keep our schools strong!
