The statistics above highlight partnerships between MBAEA and our districts and schools. We truly value these relationships and our part in helping to meet the needs of all our educators and students. We understand this is a confusing and frustrating time. Our role is one of service and support as we all navigate the new laws with the information we have. We are in this together, so if you or other educators want to learn more about our resources or need a thought partner, please do not hesitate to reach out.

In addition to the four sessions, there are optional Media Academy TL Collaboration meetings. Our first meeting is on Sept. 21 from 3:30-4:15 via Zoom.

This monthly sync is intended to create a space to answer any and all Pear Deck related questions. In these syncs, Brittany, from the Pear Deck team, will use the time to cover updates, dive into features, and highlight teachers in the state of Iowa. This is for all Iowa educators to learn more about Pear Deck, but also to get your questions answered. To add your question or topic to the agenda, complete this suggestion form prior to a sync session!

After careful consideration, the AEA Media Directors made the difficult decision to sunset AEA Scout on June 30, 2023. Please note that you will still have access to all of our digital resources individually.

Over the years, AEA Scout has been a valuable tool for our team, providing access to a wide range of digital content and resources. However, evolving market dynamics, shifting user preferences, and emerging technologies have prompted the Media Directors to reevaluate our offerings. As a result, we have decided to focus our efforts on other strategic initiatives that align more closely with the needs of our users and the evolving digital landscape.

I understand that AEA Scout may have become part of your workflow, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly, and we have explored all possible alternatives to maintain the service. Unfortunately, the resources required to sustain AEA Scout at the level of quality and functionality we aspire to are no longer feasible.

Thank you for your trust and support throughout your time using AEA Scout. We remain committed to providing valuable solutions and look forward to assisting you in any way we can during this transition. ScienceFlix contains 80+ units in six areas of study, including two math units, and provides read-aloud with word highlighting. In addition, there are videos for each topic and three reading levels for every anchor and dive deeper article. Partners Code.org, ETS AI Labs, ISTE, and Khan Academy offer engaging sessions with renowned experts to demystify AI, explore responsible implementation, address bias, and showcase how AI-powered learning can revolutionize student outcomes.

Over the summer, Learn360 launched 50 new Topic Centers. Topic Centers are curated multimedia assets around a core topic, providing a complete and focused module that can be used in instruction. Each Topic Center includes videos, audio, interactives, and printables organized by popular topics to support easy integration, lesson planning, and interactive learning.
