Shout out to Beth Friedt and our book fair volunteers!

Thanks for once again bringing the book fair to Kellogg!

THREE SCOOPS!

SCOOP ONE

We are looking for donations of empty plastic bottles for 6th grade ROCKET BUILDING!

We need empty 2 liter, 16-20 oz bottles.
We will be collecting between now and May 20.
Drop off in the office or with Mr. Terhaar or Mr. Joos.

SCOOP TWO

During Advisory next week, May 1-3, Kellogg will be pairing with RPS Chemical Health Counselors and Olmsted County’s Drug and Alcohol Response Team on risk factors, preventative factors, health risk factors on the body and brain, and supports at school and within the community on marijuana and vape use.

Thank a Teacher

May 6-10, 2024, is Teacher Appreciation Week! In addition to the many ways families, school leaders, and PTAs will thank our teachers for their work throughout that week (and year), we would like to send RPS teachers virtual cards as well.

If an RPS teacher has made an impact on you or your student(s), consider sending them a virtual card with a brief message. We will email these messages to our teachers the week of May 6-10. Forms will be open until 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12.

Please note, if students arrive prior to 8am, they will wait outside. We provide limited supervision beginning at 7:45am. Students will wait outside even in poor weather so please ensure your Comet dresses appropriately.
