EBC Family,
Thank you for your faithful giving over the first couple of months in 2024. We are still working to build up our cash-flow buffer, but the good news is that our giving is outpacing our spending. We are still operating under a spending freeze except for obligations and ministry essentials.
Be in prayer for our Search Committee this week as they interview a couple of prospective candidates for our Youth Ministry Position. Pray that God will direct those conversations and reveal His plans for us.
It’s the time of year to fill eggs with candy in preparation for our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30. We have bags of empty plastic eggs in the Lobby for you to take home and fill. Watch for sign-ups in the coming weeks to serve in the Easter Egg Hunt.
One more thing to add to your calendar, Friday night, March 29 we will be hosting our Good Friday Service. This has been a special night of worship for our Church Family the past couple of years. We will be observing the Lord’s Supper during the service.

Ministerial Alliance in Need of Paper Sacks
Gary Bell who runs the Ministerial Alliance Food Bank is in dire need of paper sacks.
Their paper sacks go quickly. If you would like to donate paper sacks please bring them to the church office.
Senior Adult Branson Trip
April 15-17, 2024
Cost: $180.00 per person for hotel double occupancy. $200.00 per person for hotel single occupancy.
The trip includes two nights hotel accommodations , two free breakfasts at your hotel, one show and one attraction. Make your payment by Sunday, March 10, 2024. Call the church office to sign up. For questions please contact Debbie Flaming or Mary Ralston.
Worship Center
Please help us keep our Worship Center looking its best and only bring water inside. No other food or beverages. Thank you for understanding!
Women's Retreat
Hi Ladies! I would love for you to join us as we go, get filled up, hear Jen Wilkin teach, be refreshed, so that we can come back and pour out into our homes and church. Make sure when you register to click "in person" and mark that you're with Emmanuel Baptist Weatherford. Please let me know you registered so I can get our group organized to travel to Falls Creek and back together. Do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. Women of The Word Bible Study
Carey Carter is leading a Bible study over the book of James upstairs in the Youth Wing on Sunday evenings. We will learn how to systematically study the Bible in a way that develops your relationship with God and His truths.
