We Are Easton
Superintendent Information
Dear Jaguar Families,
Friday, January 26th, kicked off second semester for the school year. Hard to believe we are already half way through the year! Our class schedule, for the most part, remains the same. We did move several of the secondary classes to different periods of the day well as adding Outdoor Jag class for the high school level and Design Technology for our 7th and 8th graders.
With the district recently being awarded OSPI funding for the new playgrounds, the Board has authorized the research and develop several options for the upgrades/improvements for the "old tennis court" area. In keeping with school and community use, I will work with designers to create a space or spaces for multiple activities: basketball, volleyball, pickleball, etc. as well as improved fencing and screening.
It is not too late to sign up for JH Volleyball. Practice begins Monday, February 5th. Please contact Mr. Hickman at hickmank@easton.wednet.edu.
We have some awesome things happening at Easton School!
Thank you and Go Jags!

New Easton School Board Member
Easton School Board is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mrs. Hailey Rarden to the Easton School Board to fill the current vacant position. She will complete the remainder of the term and then may choose to run for the position again.
The Board was fortunate to have two excellent candidates for the open position and, after deliberations, felt that Mrs. Rarden was the correct fit for the district at this time.
Hailey is a 2014 graduate of Cle Elum High School and a 2017 graduate of CWU with a degree in business administration. She is currently a realtor and serves on the local realtor association.
Mrs. Rarden is excited and looking forward to learning more about Easton School District. She will given the offical oath of office at the February Easton School Board meeting.
Please welcome her to the Jag Family!
