This week we are celebrating Read Across America Week! Tomorrow we kick off the week with pajama day!

The spirit days are listed in the newsletter and were sent home in last Tuesday's weekly folder.

5th grade parents - FTB and CMS are having 6th grade orientation on Wednesday, March 6 from 6-7pm.

This week we will finish the third grading period. Friday is a teacher work day.

Come out on Saturday to the CCPS Maker Fair at CTEC. There will be thousands of students there taking in all the fun the Maker Fair promises.

Griffin Moore, a kindergartner in Mrs. Gomez class won "Best Craftsmanship Award" for his Pinewood Derby vehicle. Griffin is a member of Cub Scout Pack 196. Way to go, Griffin! We are proud of you!

In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.

We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.

We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Mack with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
