OP 052024 The Lion Line

A Letter from the Headmaster
Parents,
I pray you had the opportunity to attend our April Chorus concert and the enjoy the results of the hard work put in by our scholars. Please ensure you take advantage of the opportunities to come and see what your scholars have learned this year during the Academic Expo listed on the calendar. As we enter this last month of our first school year, allow me to wholeheartedly thank you for your assistance and trust in walking beside you as we pour into your scholars. Please know your patience and grace were noted and appreciated as we continue to sharpen many of our policies and procedures. We are excited at what the coming school year holds for our staff and students.
As always, Go Lions!
Mr. Bradley
Late Pick Up Policy
Pursuant to SJCA's Family and Scholar Handbook, scholars are expected to be picked up promptly as school ends. Parents who pick up their scholars after 3:25 p.m. (1:25 on Wednesdays) will be charged $16 per child.
Proof of Excused Absences
SJCA requires suitable proof of excused absences which may include, among other forms of documentation, written statements from medical professionals. Scholars may turn in an illness letter from a parent three (3) times prior to requiring a doctor’s note, at the Head of School’s discretion. If a scholar does not provide legitimate, written documentation, within three (3) days of return to school, the absence will be considered unexcused. More than nine (9) unexcused absences may result in retention at the discretion of the Headmaster.
