Message From Onondaga Road School Principal
Hello Onondaga Road Families,
March is off to a wonderful start here at Onondaga Road. Mild temperatures and sunshine have been enjoyed by our students. The weather was perfect for Jack Gramlich's presentation to first and third graders on maple syrup. He demonstrated how trees get tapped and the process of turning sap into delicious maple syrup. However, there were mixed reviews on the taste of the real maple syrup.
We are really looking forward to our first annual "Learning Fair" on Thursday, March 14 from 6:00 - 7:00 in the gym. A big shout out to Mrs. Hudson and Mrs. Marchesani for organizing this event. Third and fourth graders selected topics of interest and let their curiosity take over. Students created projects to convey what they learned and they will be on display at this event. The PTA is sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair to coincide with the "Learning Fair." Please join us to browse through the student projects and shop at the book fair.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Respectfully,
Michelle Collier

First Graders took a "field trip" to the farm today. They learned all about the three sounds of the Bossy-R. Students created projects at the corn field, the barn, and by the animal herds.
