Testing Tips for Parents and Students
We are here to help!! Let's make this the best end of year testing possible!! Less stress and more success!
Student Tips
- Have a positive attitude-- your teachers have prepared you and will continue to. Come to school each day with a great attitude and you will go FAR!!
- Eat breakfast-- at home or at school, but please eat a good breakfast and get some nourishment each day. It will make a difference.
- Get plenty of rest- Summer is on your mind, however, we aren't quite there yet. We need you alert and focused every day.
- Work hard and have fun- There will be times that you are going to have to work hard and be focused and there will be times when your teachers give you the opportunities to have recess, go on field trips, and have fun. Accept the challenge of working hard and staying focused and having fun at those times, too!
- Don't forget your glasses! If you wear glasses, please bring them and wear them each day.
Parent Tips
- Have a positive attitude-- just like your children, it makes a huge difference when you have a positive attitude about school and what your children are learning and doing at BES. Thanks for encouraging them (and their teachers)!
- Read through the tips above with your children. Talk to them about why attitude, rest, eating well, and working hard...not to mention having fun, are important! We truly appreciate your support on these tips and truly can't wait to see how well your child does in these last few weeks with us all working together.
- If your child takes medicine, please make sure they take it each day. It can really make a difference...especially during assessment time!
- Let us and the teacher know if you have any questions or concerns...we are always here to help!!
- Write the above testing dates on your calendar...they are big windows of time, and with the nature of these tests, they are taken over multiple days, so each one of these days matter.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND ALL YOU DO FOR YOUR CHILD!! We are looking forward to seeing how amazing they do the remainder of the year!!
