This year has absolutely flown by and we are so proud of all the progress and learning that continues to take place in our building each day! Please note that Friday, May 24th is the last day of school and all students will be dismissed at 12p.

Please complete the form below (will be sent home in your child's folder soon) and return it to campus if you have not already and complete online enrollment ASAP!

Another chance to support our Art program at Cane's!

We are so excited to see our 4th and 5th graders perform in the beautiful Buddy Holly Hall Crickets Theater on Friday, May 17th! Immediately following the performance, our 5th graders will have their end of year awards ceremony. 4th grade is invited to stay and get excited about 5th grade!

TICKETS WILL BE FREE, BUT MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE! A LINK TO RESERVE WILL BE OUT SOON. PLEASE BE WATCHING FOR IT. NO TICKET=NO ENTRY.

Dear Parents,

We will have Buddy Fun Day on Monday May 20th. Please send a hat, water bottle, or sunscreen with your student if needed that day. Students will be paired up with a buddy and compete in about 30 stations (most will be outside). The schedule for Buddy Fun Day is shown below. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Our incredible 5th graders (and their teachers) have dreamt up, planned, processed and created our 1st Annual Wheelock Talent Show! Save the date and join us for this wonderful performance. Huge shoutout to our amazing 5th graders and their teachers for this new tradition! All auditions and performances must be school appropriate. The flyer and application below will be coming home with your student(s) soon!

-Our doors open at 7:15a. Please do not drop your child off prior to that time.

-The tardy bell rings at 7:45a. Please have your child on campus with enough time to eat breakfast and begin learning at 7:45a. Tardy students miss instruction. We have had far too many students late each day.

-If your child must be absent, you must call to let us know. Call 806-219-7200 to report all absences.

-Cell phones are not permitted to be used during the school day. They must be off and put away. If students have them our or are using them, they will be taken up.

You are WELCOME in our building! Thank you for helping us to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff! If you plan to visit a classroom or have lunch with your student, you will be required to sign in with your picture ID. If you are picking up a student early or from PK, the same expectation is in place. All pickup and drop offs will take place through the front entrance. All visitors must wear a badge that indicates they have signed in.
