What Do You Need To Know?
HTHS Purple Star Renewed
On Thursday, April 11th, Ohio's Department of Education and Workforce announced that Hamilton Township High School had their Purple Star Award renewed for another 3 years! The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation's military. Hamilton Township High School is the 1st Purple Star School in the State of Ohio, and in the Nation! Congratulations to HTHS and our Purple Star Team!
Our winner was Landrey Bishop! Landrey is being recognized for the softball team's big win over Berne Union. She pitched the complete game and did not give up any runs. Way to lead your team to victory, Landrey!
Our Rangers Need YOU!
Algebra 1 students will be participating in some project-based learning this quarter. In order for this to be a success, our math team is looking for community members with a background in data analysis and/or statistics to visit with students and help give them feedback on their projects. Community volunteers could also serve as judges of the final projects.
If your career has a background in data analysis and/or statistics, and you are interested in helping our Rangers apply their math skills to the real world, please reach out to Mr. Dugan: tdugan@hlsd.org
