Lemoore Elementary Families,

I hope everyone had a great Spring Break and enjoyed their time with family. As we move into the final half of the school year, I would like to thank everyone for their support in making this school year successful.

We excited to have our Lemoore Elementary Spring Book Fair. We will have our family night on Thursday, April 11th. We will continue to focus on reading every day for at least 20 minutes a day. Thank you to all who came during Read Across America and read to the Lemoore Elementary students.

April is also the “Month of the Military Child” where we honor our students whose families are in the military. We have around 30 students whose parents serve in our country’s armed forces. To grow up as a military child is a great sacrifice. We want to thank our Lemoore Elementary Lions whose parents or guardians serve our country. So on April 17th, we will celebrate Purple Up Day 2024. It is a DoDEA Worldwide Event where we will all wear purple in honor of our military families.

Who Can Register for Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten?

• Children turning 5 years of age by September 1, 2024 are eligible to register for kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.
• Children turning 5 years of age between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.
