26th Annual Students of Color Conference
The Center for Culture, Inclusion, and Community “The Center” is pleased to announce that applications for the Annual Students of Color Conference are now available. If you are interested to participate at the conference stop by “The Center “to get more information.
The 26th Annual Students of Color Conference, “This is Our Time: Truth Redefined!” will be held in Yakima, Washington on Thursday, April 21st to Saturday, April 23rd, 2016. The Students of Color Conference brings together over 850 students from 37 community colleges across the state to discuss topics that include ethnic and racial identity development, academic success, skills for promoting social justice, and intercultural communications. All registration costs, accommodations and transportations will be covered by “The Center” for those selected to attend.
The participant must be a student at Cascadia College for Winter 2016 and Spring 2016 with the 2.5 or above GPA to be eligible to attend the conference.
