Food Delivery is Prohibited

STUDENTS are not allowed to have Doordash, Postmates, Grubhub or any other food service deliver food during school hours. It is unsafe and against school rules.

Attendance Matters

BCMS Safe School Reporting (Tip Line)

Safety of all our students is a top priority at BCMS. Reports go directly to the school administration. The report will be investigated and your student can choose to remain anonymous unless he or she requires follow-up.

Attendance and Tardies / Asistencia y Tardanzas

Please remember that if your scholar is absent or late due to being sick or a doctor's appointment, she or he will have to bring in a note to excuse their absence or tardiness. Doctors, dentists, optometrists, etc., offices will have notes that you can send to school with your scholar. Parents/guardians if you write a note, please include your scholar's first and last name, grade level, date/dates of absence, and the reason for the absence (dentist appointment, my child was ill, etc.). This will help to clean up and excuse some of the current outstanding absences and/or tardies.

Recuerde que si su estudiante está ausente o llega tarde debido a que está enfermo o tiene una cita con el médico, tendrá que traer una nota para justificar su ausencia o tardanza. Los consultorios de médicos, dentistas, optometristas, etc. tendrán notas que puede enviar a la escuela con su estudiante. Padres/tutores, si escriben una nota, incluyan el nombre y apellido de su estudiante, el nivel de grado, la fecha/fechas de ausencia y el motivo de la ausencia (cita con el dentista, mi hijo estaba enfermo, etc.). Esto ayudará a limpiar y excusar algunas de las ausencias y/o tardanzas pendientes actuales.

You will have the opportunity to voice your opinion and provide suggestions for new programs and services, while working with teens that share your interests in the library, and helping the community. Please call any library location to place a hold on a Laptop & Hotspot Loan Kit. Borrow for 3 weeks, with the option to renew, if available.

COVID testing site will open Monday, January 24 th at our Prairie Vista South campus located at 13928 Kornblum Avenue Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Testing is available to all staff, students, and families. This is a free service we are offering to our community. Testing is available as often as you would like.
