Homecoming Week
This upcoming week is Homecoming Week at Shelton Public Schools. We are excited to invite the elementary students to dress up on Blue and White Day. Blue and White Day will be held on Friday, September 8th. All other dress up days will only involve the JH/HS Students.
The Homecoming Football Game is scheduled for Friday, September 8th @ 2:00. Shelton Elementary will have a normal dismissal time on this day.
Be You, Be Blue
All elementary students have been working hard to learn our Be You, Be Blue Expectations. Those expectations include:
Being Safe
Living Responsibly
Using Respectful Behavior
Encouraging Growth
Home Game Student Expectations
We encourage our elementary students to attend games with their families and cheer on the bulldogs. The following is a list of our Be You, Be Blue Expectations for all extra curricular events.
Being Safe
- Stay in designated areas
- No running in commons area or hallways. Stay in the GYM!
Living Responsibly
- Clean up after yourself and possibly others at the conclusion of the game
- Properly represent Shelton Public Schools
Using Respectful Behavior
- Use appropriate language to cheer on the bulldogs
- Sit in the stands and be a great fan
Encourage Growth
- Show good sportsmanship
- Support teammates and activities
- Limit cell phone use and watch the game
Pick Up and Drop Off
During pick up and drop off time please pull as far forward as possible. If you wish to come into the building please utilize the visitor parking spots. Thank You
