We are excitedly awaiting Winter Break, which is well deserved for all students and staff. Our scholars have been hard at work in our classrooms, and students recently completed their MAP testing in Reading and Math. This is but one way we gauge students' academic growth in core content areas. These scores in addition to classroom data help us to determine how to best meet the needs of our students.

Please note that next week, students will be in attendance Monday through Wednesday. We have planned fun and engaging activities for students during these final few days. It is our sincere hope we are able to share joy and merriment as a Bulldog family.

Students and staff will participate in a spirit week from December 20-22.

Monday 12/20: Warming up for Winter Break!

Wear your favorite winter hat and warm clothes.

Tuesday 12/21: "Toes" Day Left Until Break!

Wear crazy or unique socks.

Wednesday 12/22: Celebrating Winter Break!

Wear favorite holiday or festive outfit.

There will be a short break for our after school programming. Clubs will not meet next week, and they will resume the week of January 10.

Since the start of the year, students have been working to master their basic facts in addition/subtraction and then multiplication/division. We are excited about our growth.

Walker is excited to welcome Victor Pacini, on January 7th. Victor Pacini will be at Walker for a kindness assembly. Mr. H. was gracious enough to plan this for our students.
