November Conferences
Our goal is to meet with each and every family at WHS this school year.
What will this look like? Each family will get to meet with a teacher representative at one of the parent teacher conference nights this year. During this time, we want to discuss current academic goals and progress, activity involvement, interests, and plans for after high school. We also want to give you the opportunity to provide us with your feedback and suggestions.
If you have not already had a conference, please anticipate an invitation from a WHS staff member for a conference this year. We look forward to meeting with you on our campus and strengthening the partnerships between the school and home. If you would like to request a conference during the November session, please fill out the following form.
Hidden in Plain Sight
Can you spot the clues pointing to substance abuse in your teen's room? Take a walk through an interactive exhibit that allows parents and guardians to look for the signs and clues that could point to substance abuse in teenagers. Our team from the health department will be here to present on November 10th at 5:00. If you are interested in joining us for this presentation, please RSVP using the following form.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day is a day we can express our gratitude to our family members, neighbors, and our school staff for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. All veterans and their families in the community are invited to attend our Veterans Day program. Please RSVP to Ms. Gabrielle Cooper by email at gabrielle.cooper@wilmington.k12.oh.us or call 937-283-7254.
School Attendance
As we get into colder weather and the winter season, we wanted to share some reminders about attendance.
- If your child is ill, a parent or guardian needs to call the school the day of the absence and provide the reason for the absence. Calls must be made to Attendance Hotline (937-382-4669).
- For medically excused absences, a doctor’s excuse must be provided to the school within forty-eight (48) hours, i.e. two business days, of the student’s return to school or the absence will be unexcused.
- It is the student’s responsibility to request make-up work and submit it to the teacher in a timely fashion. Students will have the same number of days as they were absent to make up the missing work.
