The Prowler
Week of February 12, 2024
From Mr. Moreno's Desk:
Teachers, Staff, Parents, and Students,
Here's wishing everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day. Once again, out of an abundance of caution and to for the safety of all our RHMS students and staff, absolutely no outside Valentine deliveries will be accepted at RHMS. Thank you for your understanding. CFA#5 testing is complete, RHMS administration and staff will analyze data, plan upcoming tutorial sessions, and adjusting tutoring rosters accordingly. We are working diligently to ensure all our students will be ready to successfully meet the passing standards on all STAAR assessments this Spring. Accordingly, if we have signed parent permission slips for their respective student to stay for tutoring, RHMS administration will be holding parents and students to that written agreement. RHMS administration will begin a daily tutoring round-up toward the latter part of each day to ensure students scheduled to stay are in fact staying for their assigned sessions. If for any reason a parent needs their student not to stay on an assigned day, we kindly ask to be notified in advance so that arrangements can be made. Thank you!

“There is no such thing as a ‘bad kid’—just angry, hurt, tired, scared, confused, impulsive ones expressing their feelings and need the only way they know how. We owe it to every single one of them to always remember that.” @HelpMeGrow_MI
“The simplest way to make sure that we raise literate children is...To show them that reading is a pleasurable activity. And that means finding books that they enjoy, giving them access to those books, and letting them read them.” @neilhimself
