Thanksgiving Food Drive
Parker will be conducting a school wide food drive with the goal of creating as many complete Thanksgiving dinners as possible to provide to families within our community.
Dates: Monday 11/7 - Thursday 11/17
Location: Food donations can be dropped off in the main lobby. Cash/gift cards can be turned into the main office.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS & ACTIVITIES & LATE BUSES
Our after-school programs have started. The Activity Card fee is $50 per student. PLEASE CLICK ON LINK My School Bucks or send in cash or check made payable to Chelmsford Public Schools and turn into your child's homeroom teacher. The activity card allows students to take full advantage of any clubs they wish to attend. The after-school activities run from 2:40-3:40 on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday throughout the year. Students also have the option of taking a late bus home. The routes are posted in the school and will not be posted publicly. We will work with students and the drivers to be sure students take the correct bus home. Since we only have 3 late buses, the stops tend to be more spread out than the “regular” bus runs. After activities, students who are not taking a bus will exit the school into the Crooked Spring Road lot and can be picked up there. Please see the attachments below for details and descriptions

SAVE THE DATE - GR. 8 FAMILY HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION NIGHT
Please join the Chelmsford High School and curriculum department administration on Wednesday, December 7th, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) located at 200 Richardson Road to learn more about all things high school and how you can best prepare for the transition of your child(ren) to CHS. Please see Principal Murray's notice to families for more information about this event.

Please Send Email: Prior to 9am on the day of the absence (same as current voicemail option) Please Include: Child’s name, Grade, and Reason for absence.
We encourage you to use the email option when reporting an absence, dismissal, etc. Parents are still free to use the phone system to report absences, but you are encouraged to use email for greater office efficiency.
If you prefer, you can certainly call the attendance line prior to 9:00am, at 978-251-5133, extension #4100.
**NEW THIS YEAR** Please read:
We will continue to send automated emails when students are absent. The email serves as notification that your student is not in school and will be marked absent.
In order for an absence to be marked as "Excused", families will need to provide medical documentation.
