As Thanksgiving week approaches, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of Blue Hills and the students here. We are incredibly thankful for the young people that fill our hallways, classrooms, and programs, who are eager to learn and grow during their four years here. I hope that you and your families have a wonderful holiday break and some time off next week.
I am also thankful for an incredible faculty and staff at Blue Hills. We are fortunate to have some of the very best educators and people working in this building. Please thank a teacher or staff member over the next week for their help, support, wisdom, and guidance.
School Council
As part of our continuous improvement cycle here at Blue Hills, we have a School Council that meets roughly four times each school year to review the budget, the Parent-Student Handbook, MCAS results, the School Improvement Plan, and other items. We are currently looking for interested parents to serve on the committee. If you are interested, please reach out to Cindy Fama at cfama@bluehills.org. If we have more volunteers than needed, we will hold an election. Our first meeting will take place in December. Thank you!
Winter Athletics Registration
All athletes participating in winter sports must register for the specific sport they plan to participate in by November 22, 2021. Please click here to register. Please remember that physical exams must be up to date, and may have expired even if you played a fall sport.
Winter athletics begin on Monday, November 29th.
Boosters Holiday Fair
The Blue Hills Boosters will be holding their annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, December 4th, at Blue Hills from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Please come out and support the Boosters!
