Nick taylor has kindly agreed to do a presentation about our founder Albert Strange in the club on Saturday 20th January.

PLEASE REPLY TO EMAIL I SENT OUT ASAP just to give me an idea of numbers.

Following on from last years success and of course tradition, we will be having a Burns Night Supper in the club.

Numbers for this will be limited as it is a sit down dinner, with the traditional Haggis and Neaps, there will of course be a starter and dessert, with the usual toasts and the like, washed down with a wee dram or three.

First event between France and Ireland will be on the BIG screen on 3rd Feb at 1745.

This was very popular last time and there was a fantastic atmosphere so come along and enjoy the games, and maybe a beer or three.

What's good for the Goose as they say, so this year I have been asked to do something for the ladies. So the 10th Feb will see the first Ladies Dinner to be held in the club.

Menu is on a separate email flyer that you have probably already seen.

If you are not yet on the list, and of course if you are a lady, then get your name down.

Gents dinner WILL be held in the Yacht Club and confirmed as 17th Feb, there will be an email sent out for you to reply to if you are going, numbers are limited so first come first served, so to speak.

This is now the Lifeboat cheque presentation evening, more the merrier, we all need them at some time. This year the presentation will be in the Yacht Club.

Was the 24th February but now following on from the lifeboat presentation night Andy will give a talk about the lifeboat and safety at sea.

There is a lot of interesting information in Andy's presentation so come along and support your club and members who give their time for us.

For anyone who notices that this is not the last Saturday in March, that is because the last weekend is Easter.

It's been in Hibernation for a couple of years, but we are waking it up, our challenge against the Sub-Aqua club and the Rowing club.

2000 start, please come along and join in the fun or just support your club.

There will be a buffet too.
