Kennedy Family Update
September 16, 2022
From the Principal
Dear Kennedy families,
We happily completed our first full week of school. I am happy to report that after two full cycles of our schedule all kids have transitioned to the school year very well. As a building, we were thrilled to kick off our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration on Thursday. As a way to celebrate our students and families, our students worked in homeroom teams researching and learning new and important information about the different heritages that make up part of our school populations. We also spent time today meeting with each grade level to acknowledge the students' strong start and to remind them of the Kennedy's expectations of behavior. Essentially, we do not expect students to be perfect, but instead learn and grow from mis-steps as well as develop leadership skills. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
Be Kind!
