A Note from our Principal, Mrs. Walk
Hello Trebein Families,
I want to thank each of you for making the time to come in for parent-teacher conferences. While you may see this as just an easy/expected part of being a parent, it is far more than that.
This one act shows your kids:
- you value the work they put in at school.
- you care about their strengths and challenges.
- you respect their teachers.
- education is important.
- learning requires all of us working together.
I firmly believe it's the connection between school and home that makes the difference between good schools and great schools. This connection goes both ways. It's our attitude about each other, the way we talk about each other, and the way we support each other that lays the groundwork for kids to feel safe and for learning to be cultivated. So, thank you for everything you do from your end to make Trebein a GREAT SCHOOL!
Also, thank you for sharing your sweet children with us...we love them.
Lisa Walk, Principal

Counselor's Corner
The character education theme for Beavercreek City Schools this year is Orange and Black on a Mission. We kicked off our character education mission this school year by dressing like superheroes and sharing a Kona Ice with each other.
Throughout the school year, students will participate in various missions. Our first mission at Trebein will take place in December. We will be doing a book drive to support the Little Libraries throughout the Beavercreek community. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your support at home as we learn how we can be superheroes that make a difference each and every day!!
Trebein's SHINE Award Winner
Madelyn James is Trebein's SHINE award winner for this month. Madelyn is a 5th grade student in Mrs. Holstein's class. Madelyn was nominated for her patience, kindness, and respect in her interactions with her peers. She is always the first to help without being asked. She goes above and beyond in all that she does for others.
