Fall Festival
The LEE Fall Festival is just around the corner!
Saturday, October 28th from 1- 4 p.m. at LEE
In just a few weeks your little ghosts and goblins will once again have a chance to walk down Trick-or Treat Street, join the Costume Contest, win a dessert in the Cupcake Walk, and enjoy dozens of other fun games and activities! Yes, it’s time for our annual Fall Festival.
For those who are new to our school, the Fall Festival is a feast of carnival games and competitions. It is held at the school, and students and parents are encouraged to dress in costumes. Our goal each year is to put on a wonderful, family oriented event. The Fall Festival is always such a huge success because of the support we receive from LEE!
Each game gives students a chance to win either tickets for prizes or stickers.
Here are a few ways you can help make this a success.
-Volunteer to help before, during or after the festival.
Please click here to sign up!
-Donate a bag of candy for Trick or Treat Street.
Each class will be participating in a contest to see who can collect the most bags of candy. The winning class from K-2 and 3-5 will win an extra recess.
-Donate a dessert for the always popular Cupcake Walk.
The cupcake walk is a Fall Festival favorite! Please bring in your baked goods
(either homemade or store bought) on Friday, October 27th by 3:00pm
Free Halloween Costumes
Because we would never want resources to be an issue for any of our children, we have free costumes available on a table outside of the Front Office. There is no need to ask, just come and take what you need. Please let Mrs. Haley or Mrs. Wise know if the size you need is not available.
Halloween Parade and Classroom Parties
We are going to have the Halloween parade and classroom parties on Tuesday, October 31st. If you do not want your child to participate, please let the teacher know and we will provide alternative activities. Here are a few details around the events:
Halloween Parade - The parade will start at 2:30pm and will take place outside on the playground blacktop. Parents, please line the perimeter of the blacktop and students will parade past you. Students will change into costumes before the parade. They are not allowed to wear costumes to school in the morning, and may only bring items that they are able to put on by themselves.
Halloween Party - Parties will start in the classroom before the parade. Please be thoughtful if you are sending in snacks for the classroom. We would like to encourage healthy options for students and please consider allergies as well. All snacks need to be prepackaged or store-bought (no homemade items will be accepted).
Students ARE NOT allowed to have the following items:
*Anything bloody or gory
*Any weapons (even if they are part of the costume)
*Face paint (minimal face paint is allowed if the students can apply it themselves)
If you have any questions, please contact the office or your child's teacher.
