PBIS Tier 2 Training

Minimum Requirement:

A building administrator and one (or more) of the below:

• Coordinator

• One member with applied behavioral expertise

• One member with knowledge of students

• One member with knowledge of school operations

• Team may consist of 2-5 people (administrative authority exists and behavioral expertise is present to guide adaptations)

• One to two members should be part of the Tier 1 Team to ensure consistency

This training will be offered as a 2 day training that will provide PBIS Tier 2 support and interventions. Tier 2 leadership teams will gain knowledge on the Ohio approved structure to standardized interventions to effectively and efficiently support students that do not respond to the universal Tier 1 support. The training will focus on Check-In-Check-Out (CICO), Check and Connect Mentoring, and Social and Academic Instructional Groups (SAIG).
