Thank you for participating in conferences to collaborate, support and celebrate your student. It was a busy week, and February was an incredible month!

Northeast families, you did it again! We raised $19,787 this year for Fun Night! Shout out to all our sponsors and our presenting sponsor Happe Homes, for their support! A big thank you to our parent volunteers, the fun night committee, silver cord volunteers, our Drake volunteers, and the grandparents and other families that helped to make the night a success!

Our 3rd-5th graders will take the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) from April 3rd-7th.

The PTO meeting is on Thursday, March 30, at 6:00 in the Northeast Media Center.

Friendly reminder that there is no school Friday, March 10 - March 17 due to spring break. Whether you are traveling or staying in town, I hope you find time to relax and sharpen your saw.

Smartwatches are to be used only as a watch, not as a communication device. Students may not call, text, or answer messages during the school day. Please refrain from messaging your student throughout the school day. Thank you!

Northeast Elementary is looking for families that would like to showcase their culture. We are going to host a culture night. We would love to learn about your history, the foods you eat, the music tied to your culture, and anything else you want to share with us.

* We are also looking for volunteers to work the event. Those tasks include running a craft station or food station.
