Principal's Message
Dear Yowell Families,
It is a joy to be back in the building for the second half of the school year. I am hopeful the winter break was just what your family needed to refresh and recharge. This Tuesday, student report cards will come home with students. One of the biggest questions we get is how can I help my child. READ, READ, READ - Read to them or have them read to you. Have your child practice their math facts. Our youngest learners could benefit from counting and identifying numbers and as students progress, have them practice their addition/subtraction or multiplication/division facts. Going back to the basics will support a strong academic foundation.
Mrs. Pratt is starting a 4th and 5th grade choir before school. The signup form is in the weekly newsletter. Check out the newsletter for our resource schedule, lunch menu and so much more.

making process for closing schools for inclement weather is complex with the safety of our students
and staff as our top priority. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about weather closings/delays...
Transportation: Morning update document
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
