Next week there is a Book Fair at the Intermediate School on Tuesday through Thursday, April 16th-18th. If you are interested in volunteering for the Book Fair, please use the link found in the picture below. We appreciate your support in putting books in the hands of our students.

Merton School is excited to welcome an all-new Camp Invention® program, Supercharged, (July 29 – Aug. 2) where children transform their wild imaginations into epic creations. As part of Summer School the cost of the program is $40 for the week. Campers in grades K-6 will code robots and use collaboration and creative problem solving during hands-on, STEM activities. We are also looking for Counselors in Training (7th & 8th graders) to participate in our program. Register by calling Camp Invention directly at (800) 968-4332. This is a great week each summer! The cast, crew, and directors of our Spring musical, Mary Poppins Jr. have been working hard to prepare for their performances. The shows are on Friday, April 12th at 7PM, and Saturday, April 13th at 2PM and 7PM. Ticket prices are $8 or $6 for students and senior citizens. Please see the information in the Mustang Memo for ticket purchase options.

Summer School Online Registration started April 4th at 4:30 pm and runs through Sunday, April 14th at midnight. The course booklet is available on the Summer School Website at www.merton.k12.wi.us/schools/SummerSchool.cfm

I hope that you will consider attending the "Let's Talk Vaping" parent forum on Thursday, April 11th at 6:30. We will be meeting in the Little Theater. It's a great opportunity to learn more about vaping and its impact on pre-teens and teens.

The Merton Community School District would like to welcome all community members to a School Board Workshop to talk about any concerns or topics you would like to get more information about. The Workshop will take place at the Merton Intermediate School's Little Theater on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend as it is an open discussion forum to talk about our School District's operations, curriculum, processes, finances, etc.... Basically anything you want to talk about! Hope to see you there!
