SEPAC Meeting Tonight!
Does your child struggle to read standard print due to low vision, dyslexia, or another disability? The Worcester Talking Book Library (WTBL) can help! A staff member will be presenting information on the program and answering questions. Learn more about this free service that loans accessible reading materials, including audio and large print books, via postage-free mail. This presentation will cover:
· How to use a talking book machine
· The BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download) app
· Large print books, including Wonderbooks with embedded audio players
· Dial A Story

NJHS
Current 8th Graders will be invited to the NJHS based on our previously set criteria:
- Grade 6 Terms 3 & 4
- Grade 7 All Terms
- Grade 8 Terms 1 & 2.
Grade 8 Students will be notified during Term 3 about their eligibility and invited to submit an NJHS Application. Current 8th Graders will be inducted into the NJHS later this spring.
Current 7th Grade students were notified in January of changes to the NJHS selection process for 2023-2024. Students must maintain an 87% average in T2, T3, and T4 of 7th Grade and T1 of 8th Grade for all of their core classes (and maintain good standings for electives). Students will be notified during Term 2 about their eligibility and invited to submit an NJHS Application. Joining the NJHS is both an honor and a commitment. Students will be inducted into the NJHS Fall 2023 and participate in monthly meetings and community service.
