It was a great week back with our Crosswell Cubs! The Drama Cubs perfomance on Thursday was amazing! Thank you to our students, families, and Mr. Finely and Mrs. Sokol for this wonderful show!

We will continue with Winter MAP testing, participate in the Hour of Code, the PTO Santa Shop will open up, and our 3rd Grade and Chorus will have their winter musical this week! Details below! We would love to see each of you there!

We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works.

But only a fraction of us are learning how technology works. Only 51% of all high schools offer computer science.

That’s why our entire school is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 5-11).

More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code. Our Hour of Code is making a statement that Crosswell Elementary is ready to teach these foundational 21st-century skills during their computer lab and media center time the week of December 5th.

Free and Reduced LUNCH Applications for 2022-2023

Over the past two years, SDPC has been able to provide free meals to our students due to the USDA waivers associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. This federally funded free school meal program is no longer available beginning the 2022-2023 school year.

If your student qualifies for free or reduced meals, they can still receive them next year, but you MUST TAKE ACTION to make it happen.
