Hi, I’m Deidre Priest, and I am excited to be your Elementary Family Academic Student Liaison. I served K12 as a high school registrar for TXVA and in the truancy department for TXVA and TOPS. I have two children and a dog. My son plays football for his school and my daughter plays soccer and cheer.

My name is Liv Herak and I am a middle school Family Academic Support Liaison. During my 17 years of working in education, I have taught 1st, 5th and 6th grades. I attained my Masters in Educational Administration degree through an online program and began working for K12 schools in 2012. My husband is a high school digital arts teacher and varsity baseball coach and we are very busy with our kids’ baseball, soccer, volleyball, softball and violin activities!

I am passionate about virtual education and have loved my 5 years serving K12 students. My BS in Education was earned from Eastern Michigan University and I hold a Texas Teaching certificate, K-8. My 16 years of teaching experience includes public school, private school, virtual and homeschooling.

Hello there, I am very excited to begin my 4th school year with K12 Texas schools. I began my career in education back in 2007 at a small private Christian school. Over my 7 years there I served as the Physical Education teacher, as well as coaching varsity volleyball and cheerleading. I was then given the role of Student Life Director, and my passion to advocate, encourage, and cheer on students multiplied. I found my new home here at K12- and I love it!
