Thank You for Supporting Our Schools--Measure A Passed!
At this time of Thanksgiving, I want to express my gratitude to our amazing community for all of their help in passing Measure A to retain our incredible teachers and protect academic programs in our excellent neighborhood schools!
If you weren't aware, Measure A passed with nearly a 75% "yes" vote. This was the highest margin of "yes" votes ever in an LASD election and an incredible show of support for our students, teachers, and schools.
The volunteer effort to pass Measure A was nothing short of amazing. I know so many of our teachers, staff, and families spent countless hours knocking on doors, talking to local voters, making phone calls, sending text messages, and running an excellent volunteer campaign. I cannot thank every single volunteer enough for all of their hard work. I also want to thank our local voters for their incredible show of support for our schools.
For more information about the election, check out this story from our local Los Altos Town Crier.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, thank you to our entire community for making the Los Altos School District a wonderful place to learn and grow. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break!
