December 5-9, 2022
Early Release Day Thursday December 8
Words of Wisdom
"Who you are speaks so loudly I can’t hear what you’re saying."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
What kind of person are you? Who are you in your heart, behind closed doors, when no one is looking? Do you cut corners or do you walk the talk? Are the different facets of your life in line with each other?
No one is perfect, but there shouldn’t be great inconsistencies between who you are in public and what you do in private. It’s important to be proud of the decisions you make out of sight. You may think no one notices, but it’s those seemingly invisible things that speak so loudly.
Ethical Principle of December: Honesty

HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK AT CPA
Follow CPA on Social Media to Stay Connected!
Watch the Academy Choir at Holidazzle!
The CPA choir will sing a variety of winter and holiday favorites at 5:30pm on the Holidazzle Stage. There is no cost to attend, and there are many fun, free activities to do throughout the festival. Visit the Holidazzle website to learn more about the event. See you there!
Join us for the Winter Concert!
Please join us on Thursday December 15 at 6pm for the CPA 2022 Winter Concert! There will be performances by Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd grade, and Middle & High school music students! The concert is free and open to all--so come get into the winter spirit by hearing some beautiful songs!
Student performers: Kindergarten, 1st grade, and second grade students should arrive in the RGA between 5:30-5:45pm and find their teacher. Middle and high school performers should arrive at Door D at 5:15pm and report to Ms. Emily's classroom.
Photos Needed!
If you have pics of CPA students in action, please share them! Think class projects, field trips, athletics, dances, and more. Ms. Michalak didn't become the yearbook editor until after the fall sports seasons, so we especially need soccer and volleyball photos.
Please email photos to kimm@cpapk12.org and include date, names, and grades. Thanks for supporting the CPA yearbook!

School Pay
Are you looking for an easier way to make payments at school? Create a SchoolPay account!
SchoolPay accounts make it easier to process any payments you need to make to the school, athletics department, or cafeteria. Families can complete the application for free and reduced price lunch through School Pay, and families who receive free or reduced price lunch can also print their determination letter, which can be used to receive discounts at museums, MTC, and more!
