Leader In Me - Habit 3: Put First Things First
Our Leader In Me focus for the month of December is to Put First Things First. Putting first things first means doing the most important things in life. It means being clear about your priorities and acting on them.
You put first things first when you...
- work first, then play.
- spend my time on things that are most important.
- set priorities, make a schedule, and follow my plan.
- are disciplined and organized.

Morning Drop Off Procedures
We are in need of your help and cooperation to make our parking lot as safe as possible for not only our students, but our staff members as well. We wanted to pass along a few reminders in regards to our parking lot to help ensure a safe environment for all of our students and staff.
Drop Off in the Morning:
- When dropping off your student(s) in the morning, please use the designated drop-off area on the east side of the building and in front of the building. Please do not park in the parking spaces and have your child walk through the parking lot. Students have almost gotten hit by cars.
- Please pull up as far as possible and drop off all along the sidewalk in this area. Please do not wait until you are in front of the doors to drop off. This interrupts the flow of vehicles into the lot and causes traffic congestion.
- When exiting the lot after your student(s) have been dropped off, please do not travel at a high rate of speed through the rest of the lot.
- When exiting, please be cautious of and stop for staff members that are entering the building.
Chromebooks
Please make sure your child is being responsible with their Chromebooks by making sure they are charged every night and brought to school on a daily basis. If students have any issues with their Chromebook, then they will need to see Mrs. Burley in the library.
Lunch
This year all students may eat breakfast for FREE. For lunch, there is a charge of $2 if you are not receiving free lunch. The free application can be filled out online at https://www.familyportal.cloud. If you turned in your free lunch application late, then you are responsible to pay for lunches prior to the free lunch enrollment. At this time, lunches can be paid by cash or checks. Checks can be made payable to Bangor Township Schools.

Phone Reminder
In order to maintain a conducive learning environment for all students, parents are not allowed to text or call their students during the school day. The best way to get in touch with their child during the school day is by calling the school office. Students are allowed to use the student phone or their personal phone in the office if they need to communicate with their parents.
